PennyLane At BlogSpot!

So for awhile, I was debating whether or not to just blog about my Etsy store on my personal blog and I think I kinda would feel funny. I don't want my customers to really read all my ranting ( it's not too much, I swear!) but rather look at what exactly I have to offer them and everything awesome I do.

I started this Etsy store in July but although I haven't really put time and energy into it, I'm fully 100% into it now! And just in time for the Christmas shopping season :O . Buying handmade gives props to people who put time and effort into making something they really enjoy and want to share with you. It also helps with all the commercialism and offshore product placement that companies all around you are trying to shower you with. Sharing handmade with other people also let's them know you took time and effort to let them know you care and pay attention to what makes them so uniquely them!

PennyLane was named after my mother who I adored so much. She was obsessed with the Beatles and her name was in reality Penny, which gave her every right to be so. In honor of my mother, I will be donated 10% of my earnings to Saving Pets Inc. My mother was so in tune with animals and I never saw one not like her. PennyLane will be featuring scrapbook creations, bookmarks and cards, but that is not to say my taste for vintage products aren't bound to make it on there as well. :) I am willing to custom orders, please just emails me at athena_valentine at hotmail dot come and I would love to set something up.

A little background about me is that I live in wonderful Las Vegas with my shiny Nickel in a cozy apartment with Liza Minelli and Cher who I saved from Petco about a year ago. ( Don't worry about pet smell, they live in a cage townhouse away from all artful creations :) ) I also work part time at a non-profit and attend college full time plus ( five classes) to acheive my bachlors in criminal justice so I can either pursue a law degree or a doctoral in forensic psychology. I enjoy board games, obsessive compulsive list making and catching up with people close to me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope to see you around my Etsy store.

XoXo
Athena
